Established in 2008, Spraytek Insulation was founded by Gerrit Bredeweg and has built a strong reputation as a trusted name in the insulation industry. Based out of our headquarters in Fort Macleod, Alberta, we proudly serve residential, commercial, and agricultural customers throughout Alberta and Eastern British Columbia.
A Family Legacy in Spray Foam
Spraytek Insulation is built on a family legacy that spans three generations of experience in the insulation industry. Founder and co-owner Gerrit Bredeweg grew up surrounded by the insulation business and brings decades of industry knowledge and hands-on experience to Spraytek. Gerrit is joined by his brother Jeff Bredeweg, who is also a co-owner of Spraytek Insulation. With more than six years of experience in the insulation industry, Jeff brings his own hands-on expertise, knowledge, and dedication to the company. Together, the brothers lead Spraytek with a shared commitment to quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and continued growth. Their family’s history in spray foam insulation reaches back three generations. Gerrit & Jeff's grandfather is the founder of Pluimers Isolatie, which grew to become one of Europe’s largest spray foam insulation companies. Their father also owns and operates a spray foam insulation company in Ontario, continuing the family’s involvement in the industry across generations. Drawing from this extensive family background, Gerrit founded Spraytek Insulation in 2008 with a commitment to bringing experienced workmanship, quality products, and professional service to his customers

At Spraytek Insulation, quality starts with the people doing the work. Gerrit and Jeff, accompanied by Mike in the Edmonton branch, are the company's only spray foam applicators, allowing them to remain directly involved in every project from start to finish. Rather than expanding by adding additional sprayers, they have made a deliberate decision to keep the team small and hands-on. This allows Gerrit and Jeff to maintain direct control over the quality of their workmanship and ensure that every project meets the high standards they have established for Spraytek. With decades of combined experience between them, Gerrit and Jeff personally bring their knowledge, attention to detail, and pride in their craft to every job—from residential projects to large commercial and agricultural applications. Meet the Owners
Gerrit Bredeweg
Founder & Co-Owner
Gerrit founded Spraytek Insulation in 2008 and has built the company around quality workmanship, reliable service and a hands-on approach.
Today, Gerrit primarily focuses on sales and quoting, working with customers to understand their projects and find the right insulation solution. He also remains directly involved in the field as one of Spraytek's spray foam applicators.
Gerrit takes pride in seeing a project through from the initial conversation to the finished product and is always willing to put in the extra hours when a job calls for it.
Outside of Spraytek: Gerrit enjoys following the real estate market and spending time with his kids.
Jeff Bredeweg
Co-Owner
Jeff joined Spraytek as co-owner and brings more than six years of insulation industry experience to the company.
While Gerrit primarily handles sales and quoting, Jeff focuses heavily on the hands-on side of the business. His practical experience, attention to detail and strong work ethic play an important role in every project he works on.
Jeff is known for putting in the extra hours when a project demands it and for always having something to keep him busy after the workday is done.
Outside of Spraytek: Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, taking day trips to the mountains, renovating his house and keeping the trucks looking their best.
